The snow will increase in intensity, falling heavily at times through the overnight hours. The snow will gradually taper off through the day wednesday, ending in the north by mid to late afternoon. Visibilities will be significantly reduced during periods of intense snowfall and road conditions will rapidly deteriorate tonight. Some very light freezing rain may mix with the snow late wednesday morning into early afternoon in southeast iowa.
